Brazil is the largest manufacturer of world Arabica, it accounts for almost a third part of the whole world production! Brazil Santos was traditionally cultivated in the state of Sao Paulo and exported worldwide from the port of Santos; and it was that particular port that gave the name to this coffee variety.

Height of growth: 800 – 1100 meters above sea level.

Climate and Geography. Heavy crops of Brazil Santos ripen every year thanks to the tropical climate and the unique plateau conditions. Brazil Santos of 17/18 screen size is cultivated by the cooperative of approximately 100 small manufacturers in the region of Mogiana. They traditionally produce coffee of a very high quality. Harvesting of this variety is carried out mainly mechanically with a careful process of sorting after harvesting and before drying. Santos 17/18 is traditionally considered to be the best Brazilian Arabica, with large, smooth round beans.

Taste. Brazil Santos is naturally processed coffee: berries dry naturally — under the sun. And it’s due to this processing method that these beans have a sweet, deep and rich taste with caramel flavours and berries and dried fruits aftertaste, without excessive sourness.
